We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cashier to oversee cash handling operations, ensure transactional accuracy, and maintain operational standards across our various store locations. This role is crucial for maintaining financial integrity and supporting efficient store operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong leadership qualities, and be willing to travel regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cash Handling Oversight:
• Monitor and ensure adherence to company cash handling policies and procedures at all store locations.
• Oversee daily cash reconciliation, deposit preparation, and safe management.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in cash registers and daily sales reports.
• Auditing and Compliance:
• Conduct regular audits of sales transactions to ensure accuracy, proper discounting, and adherence to company policies.
• Review and enforce operational standards related to customer service and store cleanliness.
• Investigate and report any irregularities or suspicious activities.
• Ensure compliance with all internal controls and external regulations.
• Inventory Management (Supplies):
• Perform regular monitoring of inventory counts of store supplies (consumables and over the counter products).
• Optimize supply usage to minimize waste and control costs.
• Travel Requirement:
• Regularly travel to different store branches and locations within Metro Manila and provinces to perform audits and operational oversight.
• Reporting:
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on cash handling, audit findings, and supply inventory.
• Communicate effectively with Audit Manager regarding operational performance and any identified issues.

Qualifications:

• Education: College undergraduate or vocational course graduate is acceptable.
• Experience: With at least 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a cashier.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting clearly with staff and management.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
