Skilled tradesperson who builds, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures using wood and other materials. Their duties include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and constructing frameworks, such as walls and floors. They also install fixtures like windows, doors, and cabinetry.  

• Construction: Building and installing wooden structures like walls, floors, roofs, and frameworks for buildings. 
• Installation: Fitting and installing fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding. 
• Preparation: Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials according to plans and blueprints. 
• Repair: Maintaining and repairing existing structures and fixtures. 
• Project management: Following blueprints and plans, and sometimes assisting with design and layout.
