Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)

Job Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for supporting sales growth by qualifying inbound leads, nurturing prospects, and building pipeline opportunities through non-cold-calling channels. The role focuses on relationship development, lead qualification, and coordination with sales teams to convert qualified prospects into revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Qualify and manage inbound leads from marketing campaigns, referrals, and digital channels.
  • Conduct account research and prospect profiling to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Engage prospects through email, chat, social selling, and scheduled calls (no cold calling).
  • Assess prospect needs, requirements, and readiness to purchase.
  • Schedule qualified meetings or product discussions for Account Executives or Sales Managers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, activities, and opportunities in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot).
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to improve lead quality and conversion.
  • Follow established sales processes, qualification criteria, and data management standards.
  • Track and report lead status, pipeline progression, and engagement metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Sales, customer-facing, or account support experience in a B2B environment.
  • Experience handling inbound sales inquiries or lead qualification.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize effectively.
