POSITION TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

REPORTS TO: General Manager

INDUSTRY: Camera store


The Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for identifying business growth opportunities, building relationships with potential clients or partners, and driving revenue by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts. The BDO serves as a key driver of business strategy execution by promoting the organization’s products or services and aligning client needs with company offerings.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify potential clients through various channels (online research, cold calls, networking, events, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making capacity.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to introduce company products or services.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to address their business challenges.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales to achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align outreach and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to identify new sales opportunities.

Market Research & Strategic Growth Planning

  • Conduct market, competitor, and consumer behavior research to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Assess potential new store locations, regional expansion opportunities, and partnership possibilities.
  • Assist in feasibility studies and ROI analyses for new ventures or business models (e.g., franchise, pop-up stores).


المتطلبات

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (experience in retail, electronics, or photography industry is a plus)
  • Proven ability to hit sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Strong network-building and client acquisition skills
