Responsibilities

• System maintenance and repair: Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. 
• Troubleshooting: Inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify and resolve problems effectively. 
• Preventive maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent future issues. 
• Repairs and installations: Handle a variety of repairs and minor installations, such as changing locks, installing light fixtures, and fixing doors. 
• Assisting contractors: Coordinate with and assist external contractors for more complex repairs and maintenance. 
• Safety compliance: Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety procedures and facility policies. 
• Record keeping: Maintain logs of maintenance activities, keep track of equipment, and report any abnormalities to supervisors. 
• Other duties: May include basic carpentry, masonry, painting, and responding to emergency repair requests. 

Job Requirements

• Broad Maintenance Skills: A strong background in multiple trades is a core requirement. 
• Specific Trades: Proficiency is needed in areas like:
• Electrical work 
• Plumbing

• Troubleshooting: Ability to perform basic and complex troubleshooting on equipment, systems, and machinery. 
• Equipment Maintenance: Skills in the repair, installation, and maintenance of various equipment and facilities.
