Assists in overseeing the operations of the branch. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting sales targets, and maintaining the branch's profitability. The Assistant Branch Manager is also responsible for enforcing company policies, managing budgets, and developing strategies to improve the branch's performance. 


More Specifically:

·       Develops strategies and initiatives that help grow branch sales and customer traffic.

·       Identifies areas for improvement and proposes corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.

·       Implements policies and protocols for branch efficiency.

·       Monitors and minimizes branch variances / errors such as misrouted cargoes and damaged cargoes.

·       Assists in day-to-day operations, manages budgets and ensures compliance with company policies and regulations.

·       Manages the branch’s budget, controlling expenses and maximizing profitability.

·       Prepares and presents reports on branch performance based on sound analysis to senior management.

·       Ensures that branch assets are fully accounted, maintained and protected from possible damage or theft.

·       Coaches and manages the productivity and performance of his team.

·       Hires, trains and supervises branch personnel.

·       Communicates all Management directives, department goals, and sales goals to team members.

·       Produces quality outputs and satisfies service level agreements with internal and external customers. 


SKILLS and QUALIFICATION:

·       Graduate of any 4-year course in Business Management and other related courses.

·       At least 6 years of logistics experience or 8 years of work experience in a retail setting.

·       Solid leadership experience.

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Strong focus on customer service and problem solving.

·       Intermediate knowledge in MS Applications.

·       Understanding of financial reports, budgeting and profitability.

·       Experience in sales and driving revenue growth.

·       Understanding of relevant regulations and ensuring compliance.
