The Pastry Baker is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a wide variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. The role includes measuring ingredients, operating baking equipment, decorating pastries, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. The Pastry Baker also maintains cleanliness and organization in the pastry area while following food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts

• Measure and mix ingredients accurately based on recipes

• Decorate and plate desserts following presentation standards

• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality

• Assist in menu development and daily production planning

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station

• Properly store ingredients and finished products following FIFO

Requirements:

• At least High School Graduate; Culinary or Baking course graduate is an advantage

• Experience as a Pastry Baker, Pastry Cook, or Bakery Staff is an advantage

• Knowledge in baking techniques, dough preparation, and dessert plating

• Familiarity with baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers
