  • Operate backhoe equipment to dig trenches, foundations, and excavations.
  • Load and move materials using the front loader and backhoe arm.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and perform basic maintenance.
  • Read and interpret site plans, instructions, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical issues.
  • Ensure safe operation around crew members and other site equipment.
  • Assist in manual labor tasks when not operating the equipment.
  • Comply with all safety and operational procedures on site.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent (required)
  • With TESDA NC II Certification in Heavy Equipment Operation – Backhoe Loader (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience operating backhoe equipment in construction, excavation, or utility projects
  • Proficient in digging, trenching, loading, and material handling
  • Skilled in using both front loader and backhoe attachments
  • Knowledgeable in soil types, depth control, and safe digging practices
  • Strong understanding of equipment safety procedures and maintenance checks
  • Ability to read site plans and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor job sites under varying conditions
  • Good communication and coordination skills with the work crew
