We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with extensive experience in both web and mobile testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong scripting and coding abilities, along with a proven track record in logical structuring and problem-solving. This role requires expertise in API testing and a solid understanding of automation frameworks, particularly with Selenium and Playwright. The successful candidate will lead the automation team and projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.

•Manage the automation project and lead the automation team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

•Identify and implement alternative interaction strategies for element locators, addressing issues as they arise.

•Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and performance of backend services.

•Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects in a timely manner.

•Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

•Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills:

•10+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.

•Proficiency in Selenium and Playwright for web application testing.

•Strong scripting and coding skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

•API testing experience.

•Ability to identify element locators and implement effective testing strategies.

•Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.

Preferred Skills:

•Familiarity with XPath Axes for improved element locator identification.

•Experience with mobile testing frameworks such as Appium or similar.

•Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.

•Experience with performance testing tools.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
