Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient ARCHITECT to join our team in an office-based setup in the Philippines. The role focuses on designing and developing architectural plans for accessory dwelling units (ADUs), remodeling of main residential units, and small commercial spaces for U.S.-based projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility, proficiency in BIM and modeling software, and a thorough understanding of U.S. building codes, zoning laws, and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development for projects including ADUs, residential remodels, and small commercial spaces.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Ensure all designs comply with U.S. building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility standards (ADA), and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with allied professionals, contractors, and U.S.-based clients to translate project concepts into feasible, buildable designs.
• Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and material selections to stakeholders for review and approval.
• Conduct site analysis and integrate structural, MEP, and civil engineering requirements into architectural designs.
• Maintain consistent communication with U.S.-based stakeholders to ensure design intent is maintained and project deadlines are met.
• Revise and update drawings based on client feedback and interdisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• License: Licensed Architect (PRC).
• At least 2 years of architectural experience, with a portfolio showcasing residential and commercial projects.
• Experience in remodeling, retrofitting, and designing ADUs is a strong advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with U.S. architectural design workflows and BIM standards is required.
