  • Sells products or services to customers, and builds relationships with them.
  • Identify customer needs: Understand what customers want and how they can benefit from a product or service
  • Promote products: Present products and services, and explain how they can help customers
  • Negotiate: Use persuasion to overcome objections and close sales
  • Meet sales goals: Work towards sales targets, which may be weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually
  • Build relationships: Maintain relationships with existing customers and develop new ones
  • Handle customer issues: Resolve customer problems and complaints
  • Coordinate sales: Work with team members and other departments to achieve sales goals
  • Prepare sales reports: Create reports to help develop sales plans and programs
