We are looking for Accounting Officer to manage our core accounting functions. The primary focus of this role is to ensure accurate bookkeeping and strict adherence to all BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Philippine tax compliance and a strong background in general accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping: Maintain complete and accurate financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Tax Filing & Compliance: Prepare, file, and ensure the timely submission of all monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR returns (e.g., VAT, Withholding Taxes, Income Tax).
• BIR Processes: Handle all BIR-related transactions, including registration, renewal of permits, and submission of alphalists and other required attachments.
• Manage the preparation and submission of statutory reports required by government agencies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all tax obligations are accurately accounted for.
• Stay updated on changes in Philippine tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 1+ years in an accounting role, with direct hands-on experience in BIR tax filing and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of Philippine Tax Regulations and BIR reporting requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• High level of integrity when handling confidential financial information.
