The role for our accountants is to process client transactions and deliver high quality accounting services to our diverse, international customer base. You will be responsible for reconciling bank transactions, entering sales and purchase invoices, reconciling balance sheet accounts and be on the lookout for areas for continuous improvement. You will be working to solve real world accounting challenges and preparing real-time information for our clients. You will also be responsible for a portfolio of clients, working closely with the team to ensure we deliver accurate, timely and consistent information. “Doing it right the first time” and “Counting on quality” are how we work, and you are KEY to us achieving it! Do you have:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent
• At Least 2 years of working experience in a related post
• CPA is not necessary, but viewed positively
• Solid general ledger and reconciliation skills
• Attention to detail -- critical for success!
• Significant experience on review and delivering quality
• Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines while maintaining top quality
• Competency to prepare reports with minimum supervision
• Proven capability to work both independently & collaboratively with all levels of the team
• Willingness to ask questions as necessary to ensure accuracy AND you’re open to and encourage this from your teammates
• Proficiency in shared service, captive or third party environment
• Willingness & passion to handle multiple clients from varied industries
• Desire continuous personal development & career advancement based on performance.

We are looking for someone who also:

• Can communicate in Basic Japanese, with the ability to effectively converse and provide accounting support to a Japanese-speaking client.
