JOB DESCRIPTION:

FINE FOODS ACCOUNT SPECIALIST

Brief Description:

This role has been created within the Hospitality and Foodservice unit to lead the portfolio and sales expansion of Consistent into the Fine Foods segment. This segment encompasses premium meats (including beef, pork, lamb and seafood), and high-end culinary ingredients. The Account Specialist is a field-based sales position responsible for driving sales growth and business development by building strong customer relationships and acquiring new accounts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifies new customer leads for Fine Foods in the Hospitality and Foodservice industries thru desk research, referrals, field work and marketing executions. Recommends where should we prioritize our growth efforts & what is needed to do so.
• Identifies customized product opportunities, for in-house production to win long term whale or key account customers.
• Recommends pricing strategies, product offerings, and buying needs.
• Evaluates the competitor's strategies & tactics for benchmarking and reference for developing our own strategies.
• Acts as the Fine Foods product expert partner of Core Sales, executing, detailing and technical demos, when needed.
• Participates in trade shows, conferences, key presentation opportunities and representative to groups and professional associations.
• Collaborates with the Marketing in product development, pricing and market positioning of Fine Foods products.
• Converts prospects/leads to new customers by closing the first sale.
• Finds and connects to new leads and saturates the given area of responsibility. Performs warm and cold calling tasks daily.
• Conducts thorough research to identify if a lead is qualified or not. Ensures complete prospect or customer profiling.
